Insuring Sky box TV or Tablet?

    Is it worth taking up the recent Sky Protect insurance deal, TV must be under 8 years old, Tablet 3 and replacement Sky box of similar spec, but not new for old for £99?

    Would house insurance not cover that already?

    Sky have a standard call out charge to fix faults of £80. £80 is less than £99. You decide.

    As mentioned house insurance should cover these and if your Sky box goes on the blink there are plenty around for sale for cheap.

    Not even that, it isn't very hard to haggle Sky down to a free callout either.

    True its not very hard if your willing to speak to multiple people for over an hour each one spoofing more than the other :D
