I have a 2003 ford galaxy 2.3 i need to get rid of. There is a problem between the gear stick and gear box its an automatic and i just don't have the time or money to get it fixed. Everything else is spot on with it body work, engine 2.3petrol 80k on clock, also a brand new automatic gear box cost 1500 has just been put in it.

What is my best way to get it sold, what would scappage value be or if a private seller wanted to get it fixed. Just unsure what to do and what scrap yards pay for cars.

    Thanks in advance.

Put an honest advert on Donedeal with a few good pictures.

You should get more than what the scrapyard would pay.

    Maybe 2 to 350 euro

Something maybe not right about this. Curiosity getting the better of me. Who fit the gear box and did you bring it back to them with the problem. If so what did they quote you to fix the problem ?
