And was it not Sunday he said for Villagers? Guy seems to be a bit of a moron
don't know what time he was on the radio, but he might have tweeted about it and then been corrected privately before he was on the air.

either way, i'm not taking any notice of him saying all those are on the friday!

Best time to make a plan is after the tent is set up and you have the celebratory beer...on your lovely camping chair(coz it'll be pinched as soon as u leave) :)

Why must they wheel out Stuart Clarke out - he's a ****ing fraud who blags his way with people who don't have a clue.

    Can't stand the clown

What? He's a spokesperson for a well respected music magazine in this country. He's also a nice guy if you ever meet him.

Hot Chip would be a good shout for main stage, reckon Hopkins for EA. Seen Hot Chip play a main stage at Barcelona about 3am in the morning a couple of years ago and they nailed it.

    Great shout

That was pretty much the strategy and it didn't work! so we do need something more robust this year!! Anyone wearing fancy dress?? Offer to make a sign??

Friday is a bad day to have it when everyone wants to get on it.Saturday is the day imo

If it is Manics-Interpol-Tame Impala on the Sunday id say all the day trippers wont be very happy although i would be one happy man since they are 3 of my many acts i wanna see.

With Mr.S saying that its mostly Irish acts being announced so could we see acts like Frames or Damien Rice?

Have you ever been to a festival??

Friday at 5ish is obviously the best time to have it cos the stages are only getting fired up.
    Saturday? No fúcking chance!

He once said Daft Punk were hotly rumour, the year RAM came out. EP were recording majors loses and DP appearance fee would have been astronomical plus they don't like touring. He is not in the know as he comes across.

If Underworld are on friday , that means the "dancey" set late on saturday night is wide open , unless they want to put blur on and time it with rte's live coverage if they are doing it.

Could be Hot Chip , could be Hopkins.

I said it earlier in the thread that it could very well be Hot Chip, especially after apparently putting on a stellar performance headlining one of the stages at Glasto.

Agreed, but when he's on national radio I assumed he would be going off some reliable insider information, (I.e. Jim Carroll knew Blur were playing a couple of days before they were announced!!) not bluffing the info from the web sites!!

BTW Calvin Harris announced as the highest earning DJ ever $66M!! ....Is there any hope for humanity!!!

Well if its gonna be Irish acts announced please no Sinead O'Connor, Hozier or The Frames or even Glen Hansard for that matter, oh and the Heathers not welcome either.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Wash your mouth out! Glen is always welcome at any party I attend. Agree about Hozier though. Not a bad artist, just could do with a stint at charisma finishing school.

Not EP related but got paid today and went to hook me up with some Father John Misty tickets and its sold out. I will have a proper little hissy fit if they have been bought up by the Saturday night gig chatter crew monkies.

You might get a few backlashes with this ... ;) I'm pretty much with you except for Hozier
