Peugeot 407 sw cuts out when taking off

Hi, when i reverse or start off my car will cut out. The only way to keep it going is keep revs very high. I have no problems once on road but i have to listen to my wifes complain every day. Its a 2005 1.6 diesel and i recently had to change the ecu. It wasn't like this before i changed ECU but the car isn't worth a lot i really don't want to put too much more into it.

Any suggestions on what to look for?

Points to the ECU if it wasn't like that before. Why did it need a new ecu?

Key broke and immobiliser locked up everything. So got new ecu kit and key transponder.

Could be a blocked air filter.

EGR parameters might need to be relearned or reset if it's running an ECU from another car.
