Hi looking for a garage that are reliable to service my car. Don't want to get ripped off for work the car doesn't need !!

Prefer North side Dublin as I live there

    Thanks

Are you talking a newish car where you want to keep main dealer history or are you just looking for a cheap reliable independent place to do it? Is the car something ordinary or requiring specialist diagnostics?

Id highly recommend Baldoyle Auto Centre,
I've used them a good few times in the past, very honest and good prices.

Just go to a handful of garages and get a quote. Go with whichever one feels right.

There's no such thing as "best mechanic". Every mechanic has his own area of expertise.

It's an old car I just bought, just want a good service on it and if it needs work not to get ripped off.

    It's a Volkswagen Golf

Sorry to bump this but looking for a recommendation a bit closer to city centre (south), somewhere similar to Baldoyle?

Car is due a NCT soon and needs a looking over along with a few things like replacing a bulb/repair wipers/etc.

    Baldoyle Auto Centre

1 if it's just bulbs/wipers etc then you can do it yourself.
2 don't spend any major money until after nct, when you know what they failed you on.
