Got my first two lambs killed on Monday and picked them up this evening. Had a pan of chops there and I'm having liver for desert, no veg or spuds just meat tonight
mine almost ready, have about an acre taken around priests house that hasnt been grazed this year yet. sticking them out there to skin it and then getting butchered0 -

we always hang for at least 10 days , but maybe that's just old school
what breed were they ?
try vendeen or vendeen X & you'll eat bones and all , wouldn't use anything else now for ourselves or our customers

Most lads here are hanging for less than a week but i might ask him to hold the next ones a bit longer alright . They were texels out of a suffolk and a galway ewe .
I wouldn't mind if rangler would sort me out with a vendeen ram either !0 -

how much are you charged for cutting up etc?
€25 usually but he charged me €30 because they were a bit bigger than usual ( or because I was new and he knew I'd pay it , there couldn't be that much extra work in a few kgs extra )
Its cheap meat either way , had more chops this evening and a few new spuds to mix it up a bit 0 -

God, I hate lamb, especially those fatty rack chops...
We seemed to have those fcuking chops every day when I was young
