    Got my first two lambs killed on Monday and picked them up this evening. Had a pan of chops there and I'm having liver for desert, no veg or spuds just meat tonight :D

    mine almost ready, have about an acre taken around priests house that hasnt been grazed this year yet. sticking them out there to skin it and then getting butchered

    Limousins, the worst kind. Got them in anyway but not looking forward to calving them next spring. Hopefully they will settle a bit over the winter.

    we always hang for at least 10 days , but maybe that's just old school

    what breed were they ?

    try vendeen or vendeen X & you'll eat bones and all :D , wouldn't use anything else now for ourselves or our customers

    (that plug must be worth a bit of discount on next ram purchase ... @ rangler take note :rolleyes: )

    Most lads here are hanging for less than a week but i might ask him to hold the next ones a bit longer alright . They were texels out of a suffolk and a galway ewe .
    I wouldn't mind if rangler would sort me out with a vendeen ram either !

    we pay 70 euro. drop lamb off and it comes back in bags.

    2 of the ewe lambs are being kept back this year. they are suffolkxbel. what ram should we put to them? next years lambs from them will be eaten... our cousin has some jacobs i cam borrow a ram from no bother and neighbour keeps charollais

    €25 usually but he charged me €30 because they were a bit bigger than usual ( or because I was new and he knew I'd pay it , there couldn't be that much extra work in a few kgs extra )

    better than tongue-cow tongue now before theres smart replies- fooking hated cows tongue yuck. Often wondered what would my kids say if I offered a cows tongue to them:D
