Sorry Mike. You are right. Let's ignore reality completely and convince ourselves that this is going to be our year. AGAIN.

Nowt to do with our year just our 90 minutes, that's all. Is that beyond your scope of belief?

No lets not, save us from our own optimistic imagination. Keep us down and with our eyes on the gutter.

This perfectly represents what this thread has become. A critical mass of mongs clapping each other on the back convincing each other that everything is perfect.

We have plated and won one match. We played pretty damn poorly ourselves and it required an individual effort in the dying minutes to win it.

Let's not be getting too ahead of ourselves.

You could also say how Stoke came back V Spurs that that win last week was a good result

Well done you. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

We should of course be hoping to beat Bournemouth.

But I won't, for a second, be taking it for granted that we will beat then. I don't trust this team yet as they have done nothing to earn that trust. We are just as likely to play poorly and scrape a draw.

Beyond than, I certainly won't be basing any of my expectations for this season on how Arsenal or Chelsea have played in their opening two games.

If we turned into the boring boring Arsenal and one nil to the Arsenal team and won 25 to 30 games 1-0 and ugly I would take that.

That would put us in great shape for a top 4 place and even a chance at the title.

Jesus. Dont mention the T word. You'll be torn apart

Well done you. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Fingers crossed! Very few reasons left to keep coming back to this forum - no room for critical analysis or reality and all but a very few of the good posters have gone elsewhere.

We have played one game....... And we barely got 3 points out of it.....

Wait to we are in the final quarter of the season and 3 points of City or Chelsea before allowing to yourself to think, even for a second, that we have a chance. Just don't do it to yourself.

There's plenty of room for it, unfortunately the most noise comes from the two posters entrenched on each extreme, and they don't deal in reality, or offer critical analysis. Block those four out and there's plenty of room for it.

    Where's Dajjathi (sp?) ?

Good poster not around in ages.

OPR a loss in these parts too for good solid analysis

Don't know why you bother supporting a club if you can't be excited or optimistic. The only mongs are the so called fans that just piss and moan.
Thankfully they are in the minority on here.

Yes, if we won 30 games 1-0 I think we'd be in good shape and all be happy, unfortunately there is absolutely no reality in it happening.

Also coincides with Lovren's debut. Daithi was quite a staunch supporter of 'aul Dejan if I remember correctly.

As an expert of being thrown under the bus he is there to comfort the Chelsea squad and staff after the bus ran over them all this week.

Two peas in a pod. Like Kenny and Andrew at the Boyzone concert.

Rodgers and O'Driscoll were both in the Director's Box. Probably scouting the young upstart Sterling.

Rodgers was there to see his replacement!

Out of interest does anyone know the protocol for this? Is Rodgers or indeed any prem manager entitled to a seat in the db or could they be refused and told to buy a normal seat if available. What sort of notice do they have to give or can they just roll up? Is it all top flight managers, if say the Bohemians manager is on holidays in Liverpool or Barcelona is he entitled to a free comfy seat if he rings ahead?

Rodgers dropped Balotelli off at the stadium. It was all a set up.

Not that it answers your question but i remember Hodgson was fuming when we didn't accommodate him in the directors box a few seasons back.

I'd say Hodgson in full fume is a terrifying sight.
