Freesat from sky in Northern Ireland

I will be moving into a house in Belfast with a dish soon. I have got a sky box (skyhd non recording - think people call them multi room boxes) I know I will get most fta channels with this set up (including ones I need to add to other channels)

    My questions are:

If I get a £25 freesat from Sky card, what channels do I get extra to having no card?

Can I just add the extra channels through "other channels" or are they encrypted?

I should be able to get a card out of a family members old box. The card was in a non hd multi room box (Roi sub) then multi room was cancelled, the main sub is still active. The multiroom was cancelled a year and a half ago and the card is white - will this work the same as the fsfs card?

Also is the other channels sticky up to date?

You get Sony tv and Sony movies, ex sub cards can be got on adverts for 5 euro, which will give you BBC 1 on 101 and most of the fta channels.

You may need to check that a suitable card will get you BBC N.I radio and TV, if thats what you want otherwise I think box will assume its base in London and BBC 1 etc will come from there. There use to be old blue cards around with dumped boxes even pre Sky + days that work locally.
