    sounds anything but "fun"

Reads more like the kind of place where they go to a hotel for the weekend, toss all the car keys in a bowl, and lean out of the window roaring at passing dealers.

seems to be alot for them to do up there like blocking the road with their horses or terrorising the tesco across the road

Give a man a job and he will feed his family for a week, give him a free house and the dole and he will sit on his hole for life.

Joe should petition his own council to allow him to take in some unwell into his mansion in Clontarf.

Yes it's strange, normally when you are paying someone nearly 8 times the average industrial wage with licence payers money for a 75 minute weekday show you would justify that they pull the money in on advertising, clearly here there is almost zero advertising.

He will be creaming the money for rte now when 3mil tune in to see "Liveline: Where are they now?"

Whoy are ye not listening to me down over 50000 over two years

I reckon out of 380000 id say 175k plus listeners are over 80 dead (possibly both) or radio has not been changed since 1953. Terrible demographics for advertisers.

I suspect a tremendous inertia - the radio stays on R1 all day long, burbling away in the kitchen and nobody pays it the slightest attention, just being a background noise.
