Bouchard has split with her coach after about 6 months
Not sure he was the problem but he wasn't the solution either.

Sharapova out of Toronto with a leg strain. Not really a surprise given she was posting pics of her self in LA earlier today.....

Wozniacki lost to Lepchenko in Stanford, that's a bad loss. Wonder if it's a sign of things to come.

Not surprised by Eugenie's split from Sam. She mentioned a coach change after her Wimbledon loss. Will be interesting to see who takes on that job.

Wow, Sloane Stephens finally wins a title! It's come about two years too late, but better late than never. Hopefully this might light a fire in her, and teach her that this whole winning tennis matches thing is kinda fun.

Petra was diagnosed with mono. Slump during Jankovic match at Wimbledon makes a bit more sense now. She's cleared to play Rogers Cup though.

Everyone's got Mono. What do these tennis players get up to?

Imagine losing a set 6-0 to Lisicki and it wasn't grass?

Venus hang your head in shame. :p

Lots of play around the net....very few aces.:D

Did I read it right on Twitter? Pennetta got her first win of 2015 in Toronto??:eek

Very good win for Gilles Muller against Monfils, Ok, Gael's results can be erratic but a good win regardless.

Murray up against Robredo now. Just seeing the highlights from their match in Valencia and Robredo was like a brick wall- Murray having to find his best tennis to win points. Robredo still has that fighting spirit and is a dynamic player but he's definitely less of a threat than he was a few years ago. Murray should have this.

    Disgusting.

His mum and his brother straight on twitter to defend him too. Wawrinka is quite a powerful guy behind the scenes so I don't think Nick is going to find life too easy for a while.

For someone who has done nothing so far in the sport he has a lot to say. So much for his friendship as well, dragging Kokkinakis into it as well. Im sure he is impressed with that. Hopefully the rest of the players on the tour will shun Kyrgios after this latest stunt.

This may have over shadowed Tomic's fantastic win over Cilic earlier in the day.

Apparently there's some rule that could be applied that could see Kyrgios banned for months. It's doubtful they'll do it but it's there if they wanted to.

Too far! There's being a character and being a dick. He's crossing into the latter a lot these days. I can imagine that the older players will be giving him a wide berth now. And they say the women's tour is full of drama!!

Got a good laugh out of this:D

What rule's that? So far no ban though, just a $10,000 fine with other punishments possible.

I've got my new catchphrase though! Thanks Kyrgios!!:p

^ I saw something earlier along the lines of "bringing the game into disrepute"
It mentioned bans and bigger fines but it seems to be completely up to the ATP to interpret what does or doesn't fall into that category.

Personally I think NK is a vile pig for this one. A quick look at twitter and there's a tonne of abuse and disgusting comments already being sent to Vekic. Stan might feel put out by the comments and NK will get a bit of a telling off, Kokanakis will probably be getting high fives off all his mates and Vekic will be the one that has to endure the disgusting abuse.

Some really nasty tweets about Donna, particularly about her sex/love life. Not appropriate to repeat imo. People are hideous! Poor girl must be mortified. I don't think this will blow over soon. It'll definitely be brought up at the US Open when everyone's around. I wonder if Tennis Australia punish Nick themselves.

There's a line between character and pr*ck, and he jumped over it big style.

While I don't condone, for a second what happened, I do get the feeling that this kind of thing goes on all the time and that in a sense he's unfortunate that it's been caught on camera. I know for a fact that it certainly goes on in a host of other sports and don't see why tennis would be any different. The important thing I suppose is that wawrinka didn't react (unlike say zidane in the WC) and that there is a meaningful punishment meted out.

Regarding Nick's outburst last night, I'm not sure whether he meant to simply wind Wawrinka up about Vekic's past sexual exploits, or whether he meant that she's cheated on him with Kokkinakis. If it's the former then it's immature in the extreme. If it's the latter, well, that's obviously a lot more serious. It's a real shame he's become such a d*ckhead, I really liked him and rooted for him... but he's making it extremely hard. Reminds me a little of Bouchard actually.

Great interview with Jamie Hampton here on the WTA website. The prognosis isn't great I'm afraid, she's had six surgeries since she last played.
