Best saloon or estate car for less than €15,000

I've a Honda Accord that's 15 years old. Its just past the NCT but its close to the end of its economical life.

What cars are the best ones that would be similar to the Honda but for €15,000 or less? Ideally greater than 2008 and less than 100,000 km. For city usage mainly.

Any opinions on second hand BMW 520's or Jaguar XF's?

No experience of either, but the Jag XF looks brilliant and I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could afford it. Joining the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club would be a good idea to find help if needed from likeminded people.

With mostly city driving I'd stick to a petrol car as it's less likely to give you problems with DPFs, etc.
