Borini has 2 years, Enrique into his last year. Balotelli has 2 left as well I think.

tbh, I'm just sick and tired of player politics. Rafa had legitimate reasons for playing games but it feels like we have decent owners now. We still though seem to have waring fractions within the club which sucks. If Rodgers is going out of his way not to play committee signings the atmosphere must be awful between certain parties. As a fan I just wish we could get to a point that the club are all pulling in the same direction.

A complete 360 would involve continuing going the same way.

A 180 would be a turn in the opposite direction

    /pedant:p

    You're having a Dickerty, Owayn...

Oh, looks like we gots ourselves a mathimagican here! Cosine wanker!

Loves toilet seats, can't defend aerial threats at the back post, plays for Stoke, takes pop shots with his weaker foot on a regular basis, miscontrols, poor concentration levels, better at left back and poor concentration levels, is that how he is a right Johnson?

All that plus he has poor concentration levels.

The Italian jersey cake reminds of when they had to use a Spain shirt on Fernando Morientes on the FIFA 2005 cover because he was about to leave Real Madrid for Liverpool.

Whatever about people's general feelings on manager, players, club set up, etc....it does appear the the situation with Balotelli, Borini, Lucas and Enrique is being handled very very poorly. I can't recall seeing this kind of public 'freezing out' of multiple players from a top club before.

It's even more bizarre when we consider the calibre of Lucas & Enrique and that Borini & Balotelli were both brought to the club under Rodgers stewardship.

Its not bizarre its the consequence of a poor recruitment system that ignored the most important factor does the current manager want them or rate them?
Rodgers has seemingly gotten more control now and if he does go down he's determined to do things his way.

Didn't we sign Morientes in the January transfer window, Fifa comes out around September so his move to Liverpool wouldnt have had any effect on the Fifa cover.

It's a make or break season for Rodgers so if this is how he wants to play it then so be it.

Regarding the "very poorly", last year Borini was encouraged to leave and he didn't. Having the 3 lads (Balotelli, Borini and Enrique) not train with the first team is a 100% clear message that they are not part of the plans and should seriously consider leaving. It paints the picture for them what life at the club is like when you are not part of the plans. I think it's fine, I'd sooner have young lads getting in training with the first team than lads who aren't in the picture.

Lucas isn't being frozen out, he wasn't part of the first day team or on the bench, there'll be more than him experiencing that this season, the players will have to learn to deal with it.

As good as he is a DM he is quite limited otherwise compared to other "top" clubs midfielders.
I think there's an element of blown out of proportion going on too, I do hope so.

I dont really mind what BR does with his squad as long as we win games.

If he is "freezing" out players he doesn't rate then those decisions will go against him if we dont pick up points. A manager should be left do as he wants and then deal with the consequences.

I wouldn't call this bizarre. Enrique Balotelli and Borini add very little to our first team. Mario would be a decent backup but 100% does not deserve to start. If a player isn't good enough to start then he wont play, same in any squad in world football.

Lucas made 32 appearances last year or 2281 minutes, an increase on the previous season by 200+ minutes. He is not being frozen out.

Enrique gets plenty of slagging. However, he's had a better LFC career than his replacement Moreno!

Yeah, when he's been on the pitch for us he's been pretty good.

Can't complain about a player deciding to honouring his contract while complaining that another doesn't want to.

Unless there's some sort of common knowledge about him not bothering his arse in training or having a bad attitude towards the club?

This one is on Liverpool, not Enrique.

Lucas has been left out of one game. He played most times he was fit last season. How has he been frozen out.

This appears to be your thought process:

    1) Do I like the player?

    +

    2) Is he not in our first 11?

    =

    3) Frozen out. Rodgers bad.

I dont see Balotelli there, sure he probably doesn't know any of their names.
By Christmas, indeed, Balotelli did not know the names of some of his team-mates – regulars who feature in the starting XI.

Was reading about this this morning. If true the man is a gob****e. He also decided to turn around in a training game and score an own goal and start laughing about it. He's a clown.
