So basically a childish narcissistic excuse.. nobody else is paying so I am not paying, its not true that nobody is paying.

If you don't pay everyone else pays for you it does not go away.

    Enda thinks you're great
in fact i heard that your local Fine Gael office had a meeting about you.
The were discussing ways to reward your loyalty.
they can't believe how committed you are to the denis O'Brien and senior bondholder benevolent fund.
Expect a phone call later today.

Well, if you live in Ireland, it's when you live with your boy/girlfriend for a few years and you then automatically owe them a living. Enjoy.

Nope, only available to civil partnerships in Ireland.

Find that hard to believe. Any link?

With that logic I should get free tyres, break pads ect as they're a road safety issue?

    My sins!

Probably cheaper than the shower now with the water charges!

You need to get one of those hoses, or a bidet :p

It's more of an optional charge but I hate paying tips.

Right, but when I bring up using this I get a the whole of boards calling me dirty.

You clearly didn't read the cohabitation act:
A financially dependent cohabitant may be able to apply to the courts for redress if the relationship ends as the result of death or otherwise. In order to apply for redress you must be a qualified cohabitant, that is, you must have been:
    • A cohabitant for at least 5 years or
    • A cohabitant for 2 years if you have had a child with your partner

Yeah, everyone really needs to be aware of this IMHO.

For me, road tolls. I pay enough road tax already. I won't pay tolls, even if I have to spend 15+ mins more on back roads.

I think that i left out a couple.....

Don't have to pay rent or mortgage (not allowed to own property)
Don't have to pay more than 0.14 cents per litre fuel
Don't have to pay for air tickets and travel first class

The more that I think of this, the more that I really think that i won't be moving home to Ireland anytime soon.

People that use volunteering or charities to go off on holidays.

"I'm cycling cross America for a charity, I need to raise £4k." Four grand is the minimum to cover costs of getting you over there you numpty so you can tick off the bucketlist. Every year this clown has some foreign trip lined up.

Shopping bags in Tesco when I don't have one with me. I just help myself with gleeful abandon. They're plastered in their branding. Every time I walk out of there with some shopping they have the privelege of some awesome motherfvcker strolling down the street sporting their name and logo, making them look cool by association. I shall not be paying them 90 cent on top of this highly valuable service I am selflessly providing for them.

Let the bears pay the bear tax!

I was paying for a TV license for years, yet I never ever watched the gobshytes on RTE. So I decided several years ago, to cop myself on and stop wasting my money.

Nope not at all. You just have to accept that there are some benefits to living outside Ireland.

I'm guessing it's a country with a terrible record on human rights, specifically the abuse of 'guest workers' from Asia?
The good times could easily come crashing down if you find yourself on the wrong side of the 'law'...
