Sticking this in here because I don't where else to put it.
Long story short, some kids from everyones favourite minority group took it upon themselves to smash my sunroof on my 99 Avensis while I was with my kids at their water safety course.
The sunroof is a Hollandia model TVS 730 and the Glass size is 800 x 472 including the rubber seal.
Anyone know where there is one of these on a broken Avensis Mk1?

I thought hollandia was an aftermarket sunroof brand. Do you know if this is the case on your car?

I think it might be an aftermarket unit, the handbook refers to a moonroof and the switches look different to the on I have.

No point looking for avensis in breaker yards then as those are fitted to a range of cars and likely won't be fitted to any avensis you find.
Would you have glass cover on insurance and would it cover this I wonder?
You could try auto glaze.ie as I'm sure they are agents for these hollondia roofs but that might be expensive.

I was thinking that breakers might be the easiest route to find another roof, I have comp cover but if I could find one from a broken Avensis of that year it would be the same size, maybe the aftermarket ones were a lot cheaper than the factory Toyota ones from that time and so more likely to have been fitted then as a factory option.
My excess would probably be the same as a roof from a breakers, its not hard to fit.

Possibly they were a common fitment on the avensis but it's equally possible that there are very few around with that roof.

Rare to see an avensis with an aftermarket sunroof. Most that came with sunroofs, they were factory fitted.
