If you have a billpay mobile BB a/c and you pass away, is anyone else responsible for any money owing.

The bills would continue until our cancellations department would be notified by next of kin and upon receipt of a death cert the account can then be cancelled.

I'd like to know what would happen if.

    1. Next of kin is not capable of dealing with the matter due to disability.
    2. If after I'm gone and there is no one left.

Hope that's ok to ask and just looking for independent views on this.

In both cases above, money will be taken out of account on due date.
When there is no money left, letters will be sent looking for the money.

For 1 above, I'd imagine some home help/good samaritan may assist with furnishing a death cert to phone co.
For 2 above, letters will remain unanswered.

Gas thing is the bill is only tenner a month, I'm not going to worry anyway, I would have thought that a mobile phone or data billpay account is personal to the two parties (unlike household bills when you die) and if one died then that was it, game over.

They will hardly send debt collectors around for €80 or a €100 yoyo:D
