Do you mean he sleeps with them? Swimming with them would be quite cool and impressive, especially for a man of his age.

Frank Sheeran 'The Irishman' confessed to his murder on orders in his book "I heard you paint houses", the first words that Hoffa said to him. They were close friends for many years, but eventually he got the order, and carried it out.

In his later years, he started to regret his past, and confessed to a priest of his many crimes before writing a book. I don't think it was published until after he died. Hoffa's body was never found, but I think it can be concluded that he was dead the same day he disappeared and his body disposed of.

A man who does not exist. A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.

"Luca Brasi's gone scuba diving" doesn't sound all that bad! :)

As for the OP - haven't a clue.

    Frank Sheeran 'The Irishman' ..

Was at an evening with Al Pacino recently and he said that Scorsese was hoping to make a film about Sheeran, that he had read the script, loved it and that he was hopeful that himself, DeNiro and Pesci would star in it.

Yeah, I was seeing the same - not sure about Pesci, but DeNiro seems to be in for it.

The mob 'shelved' Hoffa after he was sent to prison on the bribery charges, their new man in the Teamsters after that was Frank Fitzsimmons. When Hoffa got out he tried to rally up support to challenge Fitzsimmons for leadership, he was told no and asked to quietly retire, he refused so they got rid of him. I believe Sheeran stated that they brought him to a crematorium in a funeral home owned by some wiseguy a few hours after he was shot dead and cremated his remains.

Tbh though many people have claimed different stories over the years so I wouldn't take Sheeran's confession as gospel. We will never know the full story.

The Hoffa story's in the Unsolved Mysteries thread too. But yeah, we'll never really know what happened to him.
