Just listening to that Florence and the Machine song "Ship to Wreck" and I thought she was singing "....did I build this ship too red?".

I used to always think "Rhinestone Cowboy" went: "..like a nine-stone cowboy".
And the song "Forever in Bluejeans" went "...for Reverend Bluejeans yeah."

And Shania Twain's "That Don't Impress Me Much", I used to think it went "...and all that natural-hold gel in your hair oughta lock it" when it was "extra hold".

Anyway, what lyrics did you mishear?

I was the same in "Forever in blue jeans" ! "Money Talks" wasn't it?

I remember Billy Connelly saying he used to think there was a teddy bear in heaven called Gladly, because ever time he went to church, his parents would sing "Gladly the cross I'd bare"
