Does anyone know why the actual images of the aircraft no longer appear on the Flightradar24 iPhone app? They haven't been there for a few months now, just a generic image of the aircraft.

Same on the Android app. Really is a worthless waste of space, especially for aircraft tyes for which they don't have a 'generic' image available e.g. an An-124 is represented by a 747. What's the point?

    Not petrol, diesel

I once saw a City Jet filling up in garage in Swords, and pretty sure it was petrol..

RWY25 in use at ORK today due to a strong westerly wind

Possibility of a storm with wind up to 110km/h on Sat/Sun, looks interesting.

AC823 (LHR-YYT) diverting to Shannon for Fuel. Strong westerly wind today, that's usually a move seen in the winter months.

Landing over the weekend in Schiphol...Code red weather warning for wind was active during the landing.

Edit: AC823 has picked up altitude I appear to be wrong. 22,000ft over east Tipperary seems low.

Ah I was just implying my appreciation for your pics more than anything :)

I will put some more photos on the photo thread later this evening

I am in standard class, a different role in my job meaning I do not travel as often and not by plane :( In fact, BA sent me my Bronze card this morning after having the Silver card for the last 2 years. I did like the BA lounges in Glasgow, Heathrow T5 & Gatwick

I'm guessing everything of BA's will now be available to EI customers also? Or am I being naive?

Thanks for the reply H3000. I have done that and that is where the generic images are appearing. It used to show the actual aircraft but no more, wondering what has happened.

Arubex, it's a real shame, it used be a fantastic facility, wonder why it has been discontinued.

Bummer1234, that is one terrifying looking touchdown, a miracle that made it down intact, wouldn't have fancied being onboard there.

Singapore airlines cargo 747F on the ground in SNN. Due to take off at 1010.

CityJet 041P just declared a PAN on the Dublin feed. Hydraulic problem and it will require them to extend the landing gear manually.

Currently just off the coast of Wales, routing for Dublin.

Edit: I think they said that it's possible that they won't be able to vacate the runway when they land.

Flightradar has it on the ground in north Dublin! must be erroneous info too.

Able to taxi, on the bravo taxiway

That's a regular FR24 glitch: 'landing' is some times Santry, some times Swords.

Largish plane went over me in S Dublin, travelling eastish. Curious, I saw it to be to be an Ethiopian Airlines 787-8 Dreamliner http://www.flightradar24.com/ETH505/6f08f71, which seems to have aborted an east-west landing at Dublin (from LAX) and is now past Wales into England. Odd?

If you zoom in on the flight radar track you will see that it landed and taxied, probably just a quick refuel and off again.
