    http://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/entertainment/vicar-refuses-to-sell-english-country-pub-to-george-clooney-688333.html

According to the Irish Examiner, the vicar who owns the above mentioned pub has refused to sell it to George Clooney. I think that's stretching it a bit.

As far as I can see from the story, George was having a yap with the barman and casually said that he'd like to buy the pub. Just a chat, with the barman, over a pint or two.

How the paper can come up with a headline that the vicar refused to sell the pub to George Clooney is beyond me.

It's up there with the narrow escape that Catherine Thomas's mammy had when she "FLED" Tunisia.

Clickbait seems to be getting into the print media as well. I don't know if we're allowed link other sites here, but I was reading this only the other day on Cracked, and it gives a rather interesting commentary as regards clickbaitism and the Daily Mail, etc. This is more regards -internet- news than print media, but the same ideas seem to be coming up in the papers too.

It's click bait. All the news websites are at it these days. The easiest way of making money in an industry (news papers) that's had a rough time of it.

It's click bait and the OP just added to it.

Why can't people just ignore this type of trash?
