    I'm walking towards drumcondra train station, and I have never seen soo much garda and girls in one place! Anyone knows what's happening today?

    The 10 o' clock train from Ennis to Dublin was full of girls this morning, all off the Ed Sheeran concert.

    Pretty weird seeing lots of girls in a city of over a million.

    Seriously though. Ed Sheeran is one of those inexplicable cultural phenomena. I'm not necessarily dissing him or his fans, just kinda bewildered at how big he is.

    He's a good singer, but since lots of Irish media usually cover anything they can to get a bit of interest, they'll cling to the populist stuff, even the banal stories like that one.
