    Hi all

I got a new car last week and I've moved my dash cam over with a temporary cable for now (need a longer cable which is ordered). When I wired up my previous car (BMW F30) I was able to peel back the rubber seals slightly and/or hide the cable in the headlining around the windscreen so it was quite neat.

It looks like this won't be as easy with my new car (A5) so I will need to stick the cable in some places at least. I was planning to use very small bits of velcro but I was wondering if there was a better solution anyone knows about?

I'm reluctant to start peeling back headlining, panels etc. if that can be avoided.

Mods - if this is better in another sub-forum feel free to move, cheers.

Something like these might do the job.
I used this setup before in my van to guide the cable from the A-pillar towards a power socket in a glove box.

Cheers, I've actually got some of those cable tie mounts (in white) but they are quite big.

I remember my uncle had a car kit fitted a while ago and the cabling was done very neatly, would love to know how they did it.
