old clothes

whats the best / most ethical way to get rid of old clothes in the clare area? about 10 bags of mostly outgrown kids stuff. cheers

If they're wearable, the Irish Wheelchair Association in Ennis (where Clare FM used to be) are welcoming donations. I was in there last week and the volunteers there were lovely and said they're crying out for stuff.
Anything that isn't wearable (stained, holes etc) could go in one of the charity clothing bins or St Vincent de Paul and Oxfam will take them to sell by weight.

Upstairs Downstairs is a charity shop in Ennistymon. They will accept clothes and any old textiles as all" rags" are sold on by weight.

Pilate 1, a lot of schools do 'Cash For Clobber' collections to raise funds for the school. It's a good way of disposing of unwanted clothes and you're helping your own children and your community in the process.
