Ah the old "paint whatever can be removed from the dash quickly" routine!
    Always looks awful!

Vw Beetle *Air ride suspension* *Price Drop*

I think this is cool enough.. Gotta admire how much work the owner has put into it!
And that air-ride suspension is not cheap either.

It might be hard to sell in Ireland but over in the UK the air-ride Beetle's seem to be popular enough (have seen a lot of pictures and videos of them from various shows in the UK).

Have to agree, it's a crime to see it within this thread.

That roof looks ace, but i'd say it was hard to join or weave the bamboo together..

get your troll on dude ;)
knew id seen it somewhere yesterday and one the lads here asked was it a 140 or what

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,308 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

It's obviously a 140. The seller would not keep fobbing people off it was 190 version. They would answer straight away it was the 190 to let every body know.

There is one question on that ad:
If it's NCT ready, why not put it through then? Or can you give pass guarantee and fix anything it might fail on?

    and the expected reply:
@Frank N Furter: dont waste mt time annoy some1 else wit u stupid questions

His answers are hilarious, I wonder if this is a wind up. No-one could ever be this stupid and bad at spelling.

Doesn't say VVTi or VVTLi on the engine, just says "1.8 celica engine 50k changed June 2013" :pac: I'm surprised the mechanic didn't run out of Tippex.

I'm no expert but afaik the belt deteriorates over time even though it wasn't being driving. It would be best to change it soon if you bought it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,540 ✭✭✭Special Circumstances

Somone will win donedeal if they post up an engine pic with "MINT LAD" painted onto it in 6 inch high Tippex letters.

Ah jaysus, there even wolfrace alloys the most common alloy wheel used on skanger cars...

That car is more disappointing than going for a rose and only to open the tin to find a sewing kit.

At least they were honest and said it was a lookalike - Someone could easily have mistaken it for the real thing.
