Playing my own car in GT6 is an utterly weird feeling.

I keep wondering why the GT6 version doesn't have either an engine light, or coolant warning light.

What kind of kart have you in Mario kart?

Been too long since I went on it! Mainly the sports game I'd play, tennis, etc. Must be 5 years anyway since I went near it.

I never was one for playing playstation etc, games, always outside doing something.

Tyres needed changed today, I ask whats available for my car and was met with a barrage of budget stuff I've had at some stage and told they were the business/everyone has them etc

I don't think he was expecting me to cut him off mid sentence and say "Listen, I don't want Chinese bullsh*te tyres on my car...."

Very happy with my new hankooks :)

Camber is off any way, fly through tyres.

Never seen the appeal of negative camber on cars.

seeing as yer up ill ask, whats the story with buying a car from the uk, but not using it here...yet, I've my eye on something but as always it needs work, i know there's something like a 10 day period where you have to declare it or something

Seen it in action once or twice, flick of a switch and it hops up to leave 3/4 inch gap above the wheels!

I used to have them details off to a tee. Let me think, something like 20 days to make an appointment with the vrt crowd and the whole process has to be done within a month or so. Them dates are probably off a bit, but that's the general process.

Do yas have any family in the Uk? If an english car is here, but registered to a uk address it's ok too.

Don't know why this crowd keep updating ads with cars that are already sold. Enquired about this car mid April and it was sold, few other ads are being updated and they are long sold!

I hate people like that, there was an old polo i was looking at earlier for 250, turns out it was sold last month, why keep the ad there then?

Gorgeous car, built by Icetronix too so you know it's not a shed.

    Yaaay :)
    19203494993_e3ceba8dfd_h.jpg

Still some work to be done, the hub bushes at the back need replacing (**** of a job in the car) and that bastard of a cat needs cutting off. Then it's new suspension all round (its a bit wallowy) and a new sump (as some ape made a hoor of the sump plug)

Then trickery stuff after that! I'm finally getting back on my feet after a disastrous year so far for everything and everyone close to me involved :)

While at the ensiti NCT centre, a gentleman was retesting his car ahead of me. It failed, as he had done nothing since the last retest. Yes, ya heard me, its a retest after a retest (yo dawg I heard you like retests). So he has to retest it again. What a dummy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73,327 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

Probably wanted to do a retest again instead of a full test?

From what i gathered he had failed, done a retest, failed that and failed the retest for the retest. The mind boggles!

Any other geniuses here at the trim car show?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,066 ✭✭✭✭Big Nasty

I used to go to pretty much every show in the Dub / Meath / Kildare area and also other shows in Westmeath & Cork. Got a pain in my bollix standing around in wet fields for hours while cheeky brats smeared their sticky hands all over my polished paintwork.

I'd rather go for a drive somewhere TBH.

I do all I can to avoid Trim, but I do have half decent memories of the car show from years back. Any good this year DGT?

Its much the same as last year. Lovely Peugeot 301 cabrio let, Jaguar XK (I think?) and a lovely Bertone Strada cabrio catching my eye though. My aim to have something here next year, theres a 95 C class hiding here :D either that or my E34

Even the autojumble isn't as good as last year :(

    :(

Yep, saw the TA getting pawed by half the crowd. One toddler definately slapped it with an ice-creamed hand after his mother told him not to touch it. I don't blame people for leaving their stuff at home in the garage.

    Hello there,

I went for a drive into town this evening and upon copping this on the roadside and getting sick with laughter I turned around and went back to grab a pic for ye :)

I'm not sure whether its a funny guy having a laugh or someone that is somehow put it on in a serious fashion?
