I'm fitting a few sheets of box profile cladding on a shed roof.

The one time I did it before I fixed through the high part of the cladding and it seemed to be fine.

I had a look on the internet and some people fix on the flat part.

What's the correct way to screw box profile to the timber ?

The notes from my supplier said to fix on the low part and let the rubber washer do it's job. It's stops the sheet deforming. But my "roofer" insisted on fixing it on high parts (sigh).
