I love how high heels make me look.

Granted, I can only wear them for about 5 minutes. I always carry a pair of flats when I go out. The heels are just for show.

It seems to me that most women are first unhappy about how they look and then the high heels etc make that o.k. It eases the pain somewhat more like putting a plaster over something, than a fun thing to do

I see this all the time the vodka kicks in, eases the pain and women start to climb down from their stilts

There's some scientific reason about attraction and high heels..where's steddy when you need him? It's something to do with a mating stance or something.

I'm happy enough with how I look. I still wear makeup and heels though. I don't really agree with what your saying. I wear flats most of the time but I love to don a pair of heels going out. I do think heels look sexy. But when the footsies get sore, off they come.

    I'm 4ft 11.5 inches. I've never dated a man shorter than me.

Why do corncrake women want to wear heels? If I was fat, I wouldn't want to wear a fat suit.

And it is only ever the woman that ages, gains weight etc. once in a relationship.

I often wondered why this is true?

I suppose because wearing heels makes them feel great about how they look.

I would have thought it was obvious that when people feel they look good, they feel good. I know I certainly do.

I'm 5'10" and it's never bothered any women I've been with. In fact it was actually funny one time because I used wear new rocks shoes which gave me another two inches in height, and I met this girl in the club. She was taller than me in the club and when we got home she stepped out of her heels and looked a bit sheepish about the fact she was now smaller than I was. Then I stepped out of my new rocks.

The puzzled look on her face was priceless :D

    I lie to myself daily.

I'm 2 inches taller than my husband. He and his 3 brothers are all a bit short 5'6" or 5'7" but none have ever had trouble getting hot women. ... Not saying I'm hot by the way!

Never even crossed my mind when I met him that he was too short.

Well I was a size 18 when my current relationship started a few years ago. He was (and still is), tall, muscular and a total gym bunny.

Now, I'm a size 14 and still losing weight and he's already told me more times than I can count that he thinks I'm the sexiest and most beautiful woman he's been with, regardless of my size. He loves me how I am, but is very happy to support me in reaching my weight loss targets.

So yeah, bigger women can get nice men.

does a man have to be tall, muscular, and a total gym bunny to be called a nice man

Nope, his personality is what drew me to him. :)

However, the point I'm making is that I am not conventionally attractive. He is considered quite desirable by modern standards. Yet the fat bird got him. So your point is kinda moot.

    Yes, that's exactly it.

I'm saying that your blanket statement about all women over a certain size is not true. It may be true for some, but not for all, as your sweeping statement said.

I was in a 4 year relationship with a good looking guy. And he didn't really drink. He must have been sniffing glue when I wasn't watching.

Ah but when your somewhat misogynistic comments are refuted, what else can you do except insult those refuting them?

That's some attempt at putting words in someone's mouth in order to take an unprovoked dig.

5,8 isnt short. when you see a short man, you know straight away. and its all relative. a 6,0 woman is going to make a 5,9 man look small, but not too small. i remember in secondary school there was a guy a few years ahead of me who was tiny and the whole school used make fun of him. he was about 5,3 or 5,4. thats small for a man, not so much for a woman.

edit: i just remembered we used call him wee man, you know the guy from jack ass. never to his face though, we werent that rude

nokia that's the same logic to the one shortarse that doesn't get to date the woman he wants, so apparently all women never date men that are shorter than them?

It's simply not true. There are no shortage of men who are attracted to fat women, just as there is no shortage of women who are attracted to short men. The insecurity about their own... shortcomings (no pun intended) is within the person themselves, not the person who doesn't find them attractive.

    yes it is
As someone who's under 5 foot 5", 5ft 8 doesnt seem short at all imo.

Yeah, I'm 5'1 and anyone over 5'7 seems quite tall :pac:

    I don't think its a dig really

I find it interesting that when it comes to dating overweight people (men and women) expect no one to knock them back because they are over weight, but many of them would never dream of going out with another fat person

I have seen this plenty of times with both sexes

Everythings comparative. When some people were recently discussing their heights, I mentioned that everyone is tall to me, even the ones who described themselves as small, as I'm a total short-arse, even in heels.

To someone of 6ft 5, someone else of 5ft 9 is small. When you're under 5ft, everyone is lanky. :)

I don't really believe people when they tell me their height unless it's in centimetres, so many people think they're a couple of inches taller than they are.

I'm 177cm so just under 5' 10". Had to laugh when I was talking to someone recently who was a bit smaller than me claiming I must be 6' 1" cause they're 6 foot

It is a dig, because she didn't even slightly imply a man had to be gym ripped to be a nice guy - and you know she didn't.
You cant find something interesting when it doesnt exist. You know full well plenty of overweight people will not only go out with slim people or only expect slim people to fancy them.

    Such shyte.
