Return them. In my experience, opticians will let you bring back glasses you're not happy with, even if you just don't like the frames.

I never knew this until a few years ago. Could have saved myself a fortune with all the glasses I bought and never wore.

    Really?
I thought they looked good at the time, tried on lots and still came back to these ones.
Collected them today and they put 20 bloody years on me.
    This makes me TA

    Edit
Tbh this is the first time EVER in my 30 years of wearing glasses that I was disgusted with how they looked!

When people's car tax, insurance and NCT holders are hanging off the windscreen. Costs a couple of quid for replacements.

Also "vaping". Not the activity - couldn't give a toss about that - but the word.

The fact that they call the liquid they use "juice" is somehow the most disgusting thing in the world to me. I don't even know why.

All this talk about glasses has given me a TA. I've had glasses since I was 4 and I got a really hard time about it in school. 4 eyes and the likes. But now, I see those exact girls who teased me either wearing glasses themselves or much worse, wearing fake glasses.

Why the fcuk would someone wear fake glasses???

Wearing fake glasses is the most advanced muppetry ever!

I am not a fan of too much make up, fake tan, fake nails and lashes - but each to their own. No bother.
But wearing glasses for no other reason then to be seen to wear glasses? MUPPETS!

People who don't know how to use an ellipsis properly bug the hell out of me.

My TA today is uneven footpaths. While walking to work this morning I noticed that it was was like walking on the deck of a ship on the high seas. To add to this some businesses have "retrofitted" their entrances to be wheelchair friendly by sloping down to the footpath so you're walking like you have one leg longer than the other. One place, the YWCA, has a huge mound construction that fills the entire footpath that couldn't possibly be of any benefit to any person with mobility issues.

I worked out in India for a few weeks once upon a time. You want to try walking the 'footpath' over there. Massive holes (big enough for you to fall in to and never be seen again), uneven surface, stepping over human pee....
Honest to God, health and safety is a myth over there.
No excuses for that over here though...bad form.

There's one particular footpath that is slanted like that. The only option is to walk along the kerb unless you want your back out of alignment. For a minute is grand, but this is a relatively long pathway.

Was it toilet water, tonic water, rain water or expensive tap water?

I'm annoyed that you mentioned breakfast roll. I haven't had one in ages and now I have an irrational desire for one.:(

So do I since yesterday on this thread. The rough part is that most deli's now would have only the crusty scraps of the making leftover from this morning.
I used to get real annoyed when I'd get a deli roll with not so fresh fillings.
Another major gripe with deli rolls was putting the chicken fillet in the roll last!!!! LAST!!!!!

The way Tv3 try to be humourous with their ads for films...
Speaking of their films, they're always the sort of ones you'd see in the bargain bin in the two euro shop

I really can't understand why they do that. The roll is stuffed with so much salad and coleslaw, the fecking meat can't even fit into it :(. I end up having to reconstruct the roll, putting the meat on the inside and then covering it with the salad & coleslaw.

The small shop on Harolds grange Road, the roll or sandwich is just stuffed with chicken pieces and the salad is the after thought and they're HUGE and only E3.50.:D

It drives me mad the amount of people who pass me out at roundabouts. Either before it or after it. It's dangerous and annoying.

Cause no one seems to be able to use them, specially the ones with 2 lanes around them, lets just drive straight on them, are roundabouts not in driving tests anymore, grrr

With all this talk of breakfast rolls I had to have a rasher sandwich. Went out with ketchup all over my face without knowing after chowing down.
