I've about a month left until my next birthday and I'm pretending I'm not getting any older. What should I do in the next month to delay the inevitable progression of times unnerving reality? I'm up for anything because eventually I'll be 'too old'.

Don't think about it. Seriously, don't think about what age you are. I haven't thought about what age I am since I was told enough to drink and I won't think about it again until I'm old enough to get my free bus pass.

Depends how old you are going to be on your next birthday! For all we know you could be seven and dreading turning right?

Just do all , or some of the things you've wanted to do but have put off doing or been afraid to try . Just go and enjoy and have fun ! What is age but just a number, don't let it hold you back :)

You need to find a drug that effectively 'slows time down'. Try some 'Cake', maybe?

What is Cake? Well, it has an active ingredient which is a dangerous psychoactive compound known as dimesmeric andersonphosphate. It stimulates the part of the brain called Shatner's Bassoon. And that's the bit of the brain that deals with time perception. So, a second feels like a month.

Be careful though. I heard about a Prague schoolboy who took some Cake and then walked out into the street straight in front of a tram. He thought he had a month to cross the street.

Oh for goodness sake, just carry on as usual. Age means nothing.

Once I hit thirty, I stopped worrying about birthdays and my age. It's only a number, it means nothing.

What about when you start to look like **** and get wrinkles? And instead of guys checking you out they check you in.

Most lads will be losing their eyesight by that stage and certainly wouldn't notice in low lighting.

I think after 21 everyone stops looking forward to birthdays.

I'm 30 in 3 months and I'm getting depressed thinking about it. Suppose the good thing is that most women I meet think I'm about 25 which is not always a good thing though.

    Not so eternal now eh?

I don't look my age but how long will that last. I suppose it's different for women.

I'm 113 (33) next week OP so quit your bitching unless you can beat that.

As a wise man once said I'm too old for this ****.

Yeah - my last birthday (30 :() hit me hard. This wasn't supposed to happen. I'm still not happy about it, and even typing that number makes me very uneasy. 30 is for other people. I don't like it.

I'll be 31 in a couple of weeks and I still haven't come to terms with 30. :(

Cake: It's a made up drug.

@eternal no one's getting younger (except your man out of Spaced's cousin) showing my own age now! :)

I never dread birthdays. I think each one is a blessing (vomit) but really, I do. The alternative is what I find depressing!

It's not the years in your life it's the life in your years. I'm 38 and having more fun now than I did 20 yrs ago. I've a good mix of friends of all ages and we don't notice the age thing because we're all young at heart and too busy living to worry about it. Age is just a number.

My wrinkles are souvenirs of the good times. :D

Seriously Eternal, don't worry about it. I've seen a lot of young people buried so I now see each year as an achievement. Embrace life no matter what your date of birth is.
