Who is the coolest person over 60

"Veteran actor Brian Blessed collapsed on stage while playing King Lear, but returned after 20 minutes to finish the show."

He is a nut job in many ways - but in the "cool over 60s" stake he has to be a fore runner. Like I try to - he not only burns the candle at both ends - but sticks tooth picks in the side of it and tries to light them too.

Too many of the people I would call "heros" if I used that word lightly are in the 55-65 age bracket though. The modern world just does not seem to be producing their like any more. Which - given at 36 I am coming up to middle age - makes me realise I am doing the linguistic transition to "in my day........"

Actually I hate the OP a little right now. I have been sitting around chin scratching a little thinking of a good answer to this damn thread - and every answer that has popped into my head I then think "ah crap he was over 60 but he is dead already". This thread is really REALLY making me feel old. I actually think I have aged inordinately since opening it.
