Ah come on now, ye're after getting into a two year programme in a large company with good prospects to have a career that will last. Most jobs requiring some level of skill or qualification you won't get paid for a month as salaries are generally paid on monthly basis. I'm sure most people whom applied had a fair idea this would be the case.

Got a call from cut-e today giving me a start date of 7th September. Just got an email direct from eircom giving me a medical date of the 13th of July. Anyone get any more information?

I called them today because I had heard nothing since the risk assessment. They said someone would be in contact with me tomorrow, I will update when I know

Start date 7th of September in either sandyford or walkinstown for the first 4 weeks. Disappointed as I was originally told July so I dropped my previous job. Glad to have a date now all the same

Can anyone tell me what is actually involved in the medical? I'm just wondering because I have my medical on Monday and depending on what's in it, I may have an issue

Yeah, I looked for it. First thing I did when I got the rejection email. Took them 3 weeks to get back to me.

Definitely helpful if you want to apply again or to another program.

Just a couple of areas where I need improvement so they say!

Checked my emails today and now I have my medical on the 16th but I already let them know that I was in holidays from the 15th. So now I need to try reorganise that to. Jesus wept.

Ah none of them care about this thread now that they've started. Understandable really, I wouldn't give a **** if I had started already
