When they realise they cant act, sing, dance, or tell jokes anymore,

They end up on Liveline the last friday of every month

They do realise they can't sing any more , they just see the irish audience coming , you don't see this being tolerated in at other country , a bit like the garth brooks phenomenon .

I see where this is going. Chuck Berry (88 years old) performed in Finland recently and the concert goers have got a refund for their tickets as Chuck didn't quite perform as well as he did when he was a young man...

I'm utterly amazed he's still going on stage. I saw him 30 years ago at a small venue and he was belting it out and well worth the price of admission. Of course, he will have gone downhill a bit, as to be expected. Frankly, even then, I wasn't expecting too much, as it was well on from his early years.

I paid €100 to see Ronnie Delaney at an athletics meet a few years ago.

It was a disgrace that he couldn't run a 3 minute mile.

It would be amazing if he EVER ran a 3 minute mile!

"As many as could get up on their feet were dancing round*

I'd say Frankie Valli was one of the young wans in the crowd last night.

I said I'm out as I have an appointment with a consultant at 2 in a private clinic. I just checked in, he's going to be at least 45mins as he's still on lunch. Sigh

I'm going to thread watch for a while. I could ask the receptionist to switch on Joe I suppose but I think I'll leave it. The thread on it's own will do for the moment.

    don't answer that!

That David guy whose voice sounded familiar. I think he was on some weeks ago talking about his 'difference'. Something as well about going on holidays abroad on his own

Joe's not going to bad mouth MCD - he knows which side his bread is buttered, you don't think Joe pays to go to anything do you? It's freebie city in RTE.

The American Consultants are currently compiling a list of people who paid €97 to see Frankie Valli and going to contact them to get a €5k donation.

You're sitting on the chair in the waiting room wrong, or some kid left something on it.
