Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.

Cheque clearance time frames can differ depending on the bank the cheque is drawn on.

A domestic BOI cheque can take 3 working days and a domestic non-BOI cheque will take 5 working days to clear on your account. If you have lodged a foreign cheque to your account, the clearance time can take 4-6 weeks.
