Hey Arnold's grandpa's face shape, Peppa Pig and her entire family's face shapes, Tommy squirting his "milk bottle" at the screen at the end of The Rugrats theme.. and I just know there's more.

    Why do they do this?!

Because they can? You should see the stuff Disney animators got up to in their free time.

    Sure why not!?
when I was painting sets in school for one of our plays, I painted a penis shaped bull rush into the background, all because I could!

I thinks it's some sort of semi subliminal hook to keep the adults watching. Like all of the double entendre jokes in spongebob only more subtle.

    Peppa pigs face???
I'm sure you could find a sexual symbol in everything if you looked hard enough, but maybe it says more about your state of mind?

There is no denying that Peppa Pig's dad is a giant ball sack.

You never saw a baby play with a bottle like that? My lad does it all the time. You strike me as being shocked for the sake of it to be honest.

Kids don't see it like adults do and believe it or not kid's cartoons were made for kids.

What exactly was Papa Smurf and the lads getting up to there with Smurfette. Are we supposed to believe they were all friends who happened to live together in a forest?

Smurfette fucks all the other smurfs. Why do you think Papa Smurf made her? Because all the other Smurfs were getting too horny.

What about Papa Smurf? He must get in on the action. Yeah, what he does, he films the gang-bang. Later on, he beats off to the tape.

Did you consider the fact that maybe you just have sex on the brain and interpret these things sexually.

I almost fell off the couch laughing at the CUN-T reference in Spongebob when I first saw it.

Because sadly, kids expect adults to sit and endure watching cartoons with them..and they need something to keep them vaguely entertained too..

Op, what the hell are you doing watching kids cartoons?

Are you one of these guys who presents oneself as the brave new visionary theatre needs, when the reality is that it is pure wrong to try and add a lesbian shower scene to the annual Christmas kids nativity play.

    Wth?

Papa Smurf didn't make her, Gargamel did. Papa Smurf made her blonde.

You can find innuendo in nearly anything. I suspect most of it is down to being bored and watching a kid's cartoon.

Tommy's milk bottle is really not a metaphor for anything.

It's so pervs can enjoy kids shows too.

When I was a child, cartoons were littered with innuendos. Animaniacs was my favourite cartoon! Do you think I noticed? Nope. They've gotten rid of them now for the most part due to "won't someone please think of the children" rubbish. Has anyone seen Mickey Mouse lately?

I'd say that one was accidental but once you see it that way you can't shake it off at all. Remember how after a while they changed that part of the opening credits so that the screen got covered with all these 3D animated Nickelodeon symbols? At the time I hadn't a clue why they done that, just assumed Nickelodeon were extremely proud of the show or something. :o

In general*, it's just the animators amusing themselves by seeing what they can manage to slip in, nothing more. Certainly not a conscious attempt by the production company to amuse parents.
There's definitely plenty of cases where people really desperately try to find sexual connotations to kids shows too though, which seems like a stupid thing to waste your energy on but whatever.

EDIT: Just to counter the "oh kids shows aren't what they used to be" nonsense I see popping up, shows like Adventure Time, Over the Garden Wall and Gravity Falls are ridiculously good, far more inventive, original and fun than the vast majority of post-Simpsons snark filled stuff I had.
