    Hi

I have phonewatch since i moved into the house and they have increased their cost again this year and I am looking for alternatives. It is pretty basic intruder alert and I would like to just switch the monitoring side of it if possible to a different company who are cheaper.

i am based in Cork - are there any recommendations or should I stick with phonewatch?

As long as it's not their new system with cameras you can shop around with any licenced company for better prices and conditions.
You will definitely do better by shopping around and comparing prices.

There are loads of alternative to P.W. out there.
The one thing I would say is the company that take over the system need to know how to work the system you have otherwise you may be in trouble.
