You'd have to wonder though if Danny is listening to McPrick and that is why he went for Marc again.

McPrick's rants at Marc made no sense. First he said that he couldn't understand how Marc had so much support and a couple of minutes later told him he had none. Luckily Charlie jumped in and pointed out he did.

I've always said Danny isn't the nice guy he's trying to act up to being. I just hope Marc continues to drag the real Danny out of him.

The funniest moments are when Danny acts tough and says "what are you going to do" and Marc just replies "nothing".

I love when Marc articulates his thoughts, and delivers a point. All Danny can do to respond is say "shut up, shut up". And he's demonstrated that with other HM's repeatedly. He's a moron, and he's hiding his real personality. Anybody but Danny to win.

Marc is right though and that's why none of them can take it. Belo, for example, was unhinged and continually dragged Marc into his arguments with Helen.

After last night I'm wondering if marc should go Friday for his own good?
It must be awful to be ganged up on like that-the only one to back him up was Harry and she did it in the diary room cos she would have been pounced on if she did it in the house.

Power pants I know your trolling, but even so, I hope you die from a massive heart attack caused by high cholesterol because you weight about 6stone by the sounds of it

spot all the ones on here uncomfortable with their weight :pac:

As another poster said, its ok to slate peoples IQ and behaviour but something they can control like their diet and weight is a big no no?

chloe, sam, harri etc would all lose shape if they didnt stuff themselves and lie around like beached whales all day

    thats debateable.

Im not saying fat means ugly or they are bad people because they are overweight. I am only saying that they are overweight.

Ok, they're overweight - far from grossly though. That type of talk doesn't so any good, so why do it?

Why does almost everything come down to a debate over weight - Who actually cares

its a show where contestants leave themselves open for scrutiny
a lot on here are ripping apart their personalities, accents, behaviour, social interactions.
Why is it not allowed to make an observation about them being overweight?

Logically, its the one thing they have more control over than the rest of the attributes that we discuss on them.

Chloe and Sam are not happy about rotund, yet they are happy to remain that way. Just shows that they are lazy individuals imo

I'm scrunching my nose here because you are technical right about most things, but *sigh* isn't this particular subject debated to death !

And the lazy comment....not so sure, not always that black and white.....

ok, we can draw a line under this.

Moving on, Id like to ask, why is Brain used as a benchmark to jusge others.

"brian is such a decent guy blah blah blah" coming from John et al

Marc is right not to let this go as its ridiculous having to listen to Christian's explanation of "antagonising"

    what a fool

That's a much way of putting it I suppose, Your earlier posts came across as someone who was just interested in put-downs.

I'm not interested in weight debates on people though, never have & never will. The show is not about that.

one final comment on the issue, I never voiced an opinion on it until someone said "fat jack" and that seemed to set me off.

Thought at the time it was uncalled for and decided I would see if it was ok to call the girls fat :pac:

    Aww powerpants, good call !

You know I was just asking the same question last night. I honestly haven't watched Big Brother for years and the only reason why I started was because of Marc and at first I could not stand him ! But now I think I actually want him to win !

Personally, I think Marc would make me lose my mind, not because he is an ass , but because I am too short tempered and I think that is what is going on in there - Marc has an awesome skill with regards to debating and they cannot hack it.

The whole Brian thing is extremely annoying. Brian went because he can't control his temper, although Helen was vile......

Marc is the only genuine personality in there......and maybe Jack actually lol He genuinely wants to win and will do anything to win I think !

I agree, Brian was not a nice person. To the public he was portrayed as a funny caring great guy.

the chicken dance and the not knowing the 3 bears story fell on deaf ears in the bunker and he realised this tactic was not going to win people over again.

He seemed to not be in control of any of his emotions. With Jade he was literally balling his eyes out as she was talking to Nick

Then his sheer anger towards Helen and Marc. I think the Frozen duck should have been aired on the tv to show what marc was up against facing Brian and that he wasnt this "normal, charming" guy BB wanted us to think.

Has he been on any tv appearances since? Maybe he is seeking professional help or something, as something was a miss with his actions.

Helen made an error with what she called Brian and im sure she knows that too. However looking back, she wasnt nasty to many other housemates -she got on well with Chloe, showbiz, Sam,Marc

One thing Im a little miffed at with Marc is this hugging thing

ON talifornia he was always hugging the blonde one and in BB he was always wanting hugs from Sam in bed and then Helen the first night they entered the bunker.

Now he doesnt and makes a big thing about it.

Danny's always squaring up to Marc because he knows he won't retaliate, if he actually thought Marc might hit him a slap he'd never do it. I don't want Marc to get evicted but if he does go Friday, I'd love him to drop Danny on his way out the door. King Chav could lie on the ground with his face plastered and brown streaks in his pants.

The major difference with Helen and Marc is that they're honest and straight to a fault.
Brian has the fool element so he gets away with his nastiness. Nikki has the little princess element so she gets away with her nastiness.
Airsleyne and Danny just start crying and shouting because they're too stupid to have a reasoned debate.
Behaviour like that on Jeremy Kyle would label them as thugs but when it's directed at Marc they're heroes.
    It's disgraceful really.

Its like danny has just found himself. Knowing that nobody can get physical or too confrontational when arguing with him.

He still comes accross nervous and uneasy when trying to show his authority to marc yet easy to do to Christian.

bit of a bully I think, yet he's happy to shout about marc being the bully. Marc will call anyone up on something he is not happy about

I must be the only person on here who isn't totally enamoured of Marc. Yes, he's entertaining to watch, but the way he winds people up and then looks stupified if anyone calls him out on it bothers me. Jesus, he said coming in to house that he was going to stir shit and he has done - I don't know what the innocent act is all about. I did get a laugh out of his tirade in the diary room, though :D

Harri with a face on her again....if she thinks that little of Nick, why not stop doing everything for him and tell him to do one. If a relationship is this contentious four weeks in, probably best to cut your losses and call it a day. Miserable pair.

Totally agree about Marc, his 'banter' of calling people fat (Chloe and Sam) and people with issues Psycho (brian), and Liars (Nick) just seems over the top and delibritely confrontational. He has said he wants to wind people up but surely he can do it with a little bit more class, smarts and humour? I don't think it is always Irish Banter. He really let McCririck push his buttons and wind him up. He really got under his skin. Thought he would remain calm and handle the old fool a lot better.

Honestly, I think they are all dopes in there - Marc is probably the smartest one, but hey we don't have a lot to choose from really do we?....

Really, how did McCririck get under his skin? I know he was annoyed in the diary room but that is what the diary room is for. I thought when standing out there listening to McCririck's rubbish, he did very well. He basically stood there humouring him.

No one could answer Mark's simple question last night - "what did i say to Brian?" - no one could answer it. 100% indicative that they are picking on him at this stage.

When did "Irish Banter", which I've always regarded as taking the mick, turn into being a total c*nt to people.

His inability to see the difference between the two and then his "sure I'm only having a laugh" to twist it so that it is made look as if the 'victim' of the abuse is the problem is a bullying technique. As is shouting over people and not letting them get their points across.

Just because you can shout and browbeat people while asking questions and not allow them time to get their points across, does not make them (a) wrong and (b) liars.

Marc was a breath of fresh air - now he just poisons it.

Honestly, I think we all know that Marc is an ass.

The only reason he is half appealing is that he is very good at getting away with it OR looking the victim.

Calling a spade a spade.....Marc is the biggest game player in there and he most Manipulating person I have ever witnessed.

He is very good at what he does...

I'm not buying this opinion on Marc being super intelligent, he is far from a being a master manipulator either imo, they're all wide to his bs.

He has character and is great viewing because he's so ridiculous, the minute he licked up to Helen badly was the minute his chances of winning was gone. - How intelligent was that move?

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy & hope he stays in 'til the end, the show will be tripe without him - but with Marc, he always seems to have to have the cameras on him, everything is drama with Marc.

I'm not so sure Chris. I think he still has a chance of winning - I think people really hate Helen, but I think Marc always showed that he was making his own decisions and not Helen making them for him......

The whole Helen thing didn't do him any favours, but I suppose my point is.....Yes he isn't super intelligent or super manipulative, but he is the most intelligent and the most manilulative in the house.......Doesn't say much for the other house mates though !!
