I recently bought one and have had it back to the garage twice...losing power while I was overtaking. Has anybody else experienced problems with these cars.

The garage needs to sort it. I assume you got warranty with a new car.
They should have started with reading any fault codes and worked from these.

Which model of Octavia is it? Petrol? Diesel?
Was it always losing power or did it start at a particular point, like after filling it up with fuel?
