I didn't watch the whole review but got am impression of a bit of an unfinished product

I'm in two minds now whether to cancel or not but came across this on the FT forum.

I know it's german but this guy begins at 18:00 with some measurements which say the evic vt is very close to the most precise high end **** I know about (dicodes). Temperature +/- 5°C max (most of the time it's 1 or 2°).

Both guys do good in-depth reviews so which one of them is wrong >.<

Similar to the smok m80 so, I wonder is temp control vaping really just a gimmick to wean people away from their hard earned money. Do we really need tc mods? after all we already have mods that will fire attys as low as 0.1 and mods that can hit 100+ watts so is tc really a benefit? Not for me anyway. Also builds for tc use nickel which in my limited experience is a pain in the butt to work with, its soft and breaks very easy, so " youdipstick" I wouldnt be too disappointed for canceling your order as it may be put to better use on some other kit. Sorry for the rant but tc has been bugging me for a while, i would much prefer to see manufacturers improve on the mods and tanks that are already available rather than pushing the boundry further out.

I haven't read much into TC but for what I need I'm not paying extra for it, the iSticks50 and range of tanks I have do what I need for the time being

In TC the temp doesn't rise to the acquired setting,I would have accepted that but when I heard that alot of vapors experienced the evic was jumping out of TC & straight into power mode, the coils on the clearo were too small & didn't wick right,if the evic on it's own was for sale around 50 to 60,I might chance it.
I have 3 TC mods coming from China anyway.

Temp control is the future lads.
Wait for the Farsalinos studies to come out and I reckon we'll see that our coils are getting too hot (and too low ohm) and giving off metals, also that burning wick is bad news. This is NOT fact, just what I think is going to come out. Having a working TC device will eliminate the risk of overheating the metals or burning the wicks. As a tech its clearly not ready yet, but I feel it will be the only way forward.

P.S. I haven't bought a TC device yet, not until its perfected.

I would think the same , it might also go towards showing the law makers that a device can give a consistent vape , which seems to be one of their complaints .

Good timing on the cancellation as Joyetech have just suspended production of the VT due to customer concerns.

At least they moved fairly quick to do that, hopefully they will offer a full return or replacement with new/fixed model to people who have already bought one.
Must say I have been well happy with quality of my Joyetech eVic Surpreme since day one, only reason it is not getting any use is that I have 2 iStick50 so I don't really need it.

I hope Cloupor are watching and learn a lesson on handling customer relations after their fiasco with the Mini.

I delved into the world of vaping today, i got a black eleaf ikit, 2 spare coils and 30m of burren blend 18mg,so far so good:)

Well my eleaf lasted all of 2wks, the plastic liquid container cracked off as it only has plastic threads to screw it onto the battery( sorry in still dont even know the names of the diff parts:D) anyway i was told i couldnt replace the part and would have to buy a whole new unit so i bought a new ego c which has metal threads and if parts break i can just replace them instead of a whole new e cig, it doesnt look as nice but seems much tougher anyway:)

Feeling flush today, so I got the Evic-VT from Vapefreaks. €93 delivered by courier. Can't say I've seen it cheaper elsewhere. He also has the Subox Mini kit for €76.49 delivered. If I'm feeling just as flush next week, I'll get that too :D

Did you not read the reviews and that eleaf have stopped the production of them ?
If possible I would cancel the order and wait for revised version

Best shop posted on FB a while ago saying their supplier had gotten in touch with them advising that the stop in production is due to Joyetech's inability to source screens at the moment. Not a quality issue so I'm not particularly worried. The few I know who have them, have no issues with them, so I'm happy to keep the order.

I re- ordered the Evic-VT from ESI,I was on the phone to Sabrina discussing all the issues that some of these mods have, she says the batch they have seem to be good, any issues at all, they will replace or refund, nothing is perfect with any mod,a couple of glitches is ok for me,I'll just keep on replacing it until I get the right one:D:D
I know the coils you get with the ego mega are schite,I'll replace them with that rebuildable coil, forgotten the name of it...DUH:mad:

    eGrip RBA Base
Evic VT Full Kit - Orange
    Atlantis OCC Coils - 0.3
    Atlantis OCC Coils - 0.5
    Nut Juice - 18mg
    Nut Juice - 6mg

Anyway,I also ordered a Heatvape Invader 50w TC from Gearbest....

Will do, I tried the authentic one at vapefest and thought the airflow was like the Nautilus but didn't buy it as the Authentic was over 120 Euro

Ouch. I'm not a fan of clones but if that's the original price this is a fair exception
