Tyres for MPV's

Ford S Max, 215/55 R18's, hard on tyres especially the front as in 15k max, can anyone recommend a tyre that might do better than this, I know it depends on the style of driving etc but the last two front tyres I got were €150 each and almost walked off the car..........?

Some brands offer better life depending on the car, do you know what the originals were and what you put on it?
