Everywhere you look is car mad, the road around the town just happens to be the Mulsanne straight of the actual racecourse that makes the town famous and the track itself has a fantastic museum that celebrates both the best of Frence motoring but also obviously has the ultimate collection of LeMans race cars including two of my ultimate race cars ever, the Mazda 787B and the Peugeot 905. LeMans is only about two hours from the boat in Cherbourg so anyone passing through France this summer its well worth a few hours and if you a motorsport geek like me, give youself a whole lot more time!!!
