I'd imagine it's a technical fault. Landing gear is an obivous possibility that comes into my head. It may not be locking in position or have other errors.

I remember a TAM A330-200 with a problem with their front gear, they made 2 go arounds and spent 10mins holding to fix the solution. Landed safely on third attempt.

    On approach to Toulon.

Seems to be a lot of holding going into nice.

Would that air France have diverted for fuel reasons after the first attempt?

Edit, atc just warned the BA that tailwinds are causing go arounds

Possibly, maybe he has a better chance in Toulon. Keep in mind that he may need to stay on the runway for an indefinite amount of time therefore closing the runway. At TOU this would cause less disruption.

    LH1064 Go around (Another one).

If they are not being given landing clearance why do they keep making approaches?

This is your captain speaking, the Queen has finally landed so we can break this holding pattern in the middle of nowhere and finally get down on the ground...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Lufty 340 lining up at DUB. Regular flight or something else like painting? No destination currently displaying.
