I'm not too well up on amiibos but I know that some are rare enough. In case this is of interest to people here, I spotted about 5 or 6 Ness amiibos in Smyths in Swords this evening.

Been on the lookout for ness but too far away for me, if anyone is picking up one for themselves and could post one down I'd cover costs and appreciate it before the scalpers get in.

They seem to think 'Her Story' is some manner of "SJW" game... apparently just having a female main character makes your game "SJW".

Her Story looks really great though.

Yeah Her Story looks absolutely fantastic, can't wait to give it a go.

They really hate Life is Strange as a well, possibly because one of the characters has dyed blue hair and her name rhymes with Zoe.

I'm really enjoying Life is Strange though, can't wait for the next episode.

Yeah just finished episode two last night and it's evolving nicely, has a lot of great ideas even if others are a bit rote when you look at the wider cultural landscape. Still, it's ten times more intelligently crafted and written than the vast majority of games, and so far it's growing more confided as it goes along. Have heard episode three is the best so far so looking forward to playing through it over the next few days.

One thing it does exceptionally well is the use of music, goes to show how few games effectively use music cues.

Finished Scholar of the first Sin last night. It's the first time I've played the Dark Souls 2 DLC. The base game might have been disappointing but my god the DLC episodes were just so beautifully designed, it's probably some of the best sections in the whole Souls universe.

Big shout out to Bandit who, single handedly, saved my Colecovision from certain death, conducting magical rites, sacrificing a few goats, and bringing the best back to life, as well as installing an AV mod into the bargain.
So good, no more RF for me, and I can see what I'm doing!
Just had a blast of Looping and it's all good!
I have the following for it
    Zaxxon
    Donkey Kong
    Donkey Kong Jr
    Cosmic Avenger
    Gorf
    Looping
    Mr Do!

I aggree 100%, main game was great.... but didnt live up to the first for me personally. The dlc was superb though, dripping with lore and such a joy to play.

Got Dark Souls in the steam sale myself, cant wait to get stuck into it now. Its definitely top 5 games of all time for me. Cant wait to play the third one.

Just murdered the Darkbeast, now to try and trounce that blasted spider!

Go to Sneaky Dees on the corner of College & Bathurst. Order Poutine and a few pitchers of Labbatts Blue. Cross the road. Go to the LCBO and get a few slabs of Kokanee.

Stop by Hero Burger on Queen & Bathurst on the way home.

    Thank me tomorrow. :D

(Assuming all the above places are still there, its been a few years since I lived there)

You need to drink some of that whilst playing on the NES with the Rollin' Rocker.

^ I'm only 5 mins in, but it's just ridiculous...never watched a blindfolded run through before! Amazing stuff. Such an amazing game that too

Darkbeast is probably one of the tougher bosses in the game.

For Rom I tend to just ignore the small spiders altogether and just wail on her and kill her as fast as possible.

Honestly Darkbeast kept killing me and I was on the verge of beckoning someone but I just went for it and kept rolling beneath him and smacking his legs with a +6 Saw cleaver thingy.
The only reason I tried to take him on was to obtain the Tonitrus so I could use it on Rom.
Those little spiders though, b@stards one and all!
