Help identifying BirdCall

I've just started hearing a bird call these past few nights, i'm assuming young/juvenile, my bird knowledge is low, but i'm working on it.
Haven't got a visual on what this is yet, but hoping someone could help me identify this bird, it calls after dark and for a few hours. I'm in Wicklow.
Apologies for poor quality, it's recorded from my phone, so you might have to turn it up alot

It sounds like a juvenile Long-eared Owl.

Sounds like their maybe more than one at that!

Awesome, that would confirm my suspicion, not only is there more than one, having had a good walk around and a listen late last night, I think there might be 3. theres 2 in the location I recorded and another a short walk away.
I'm amazed, as we've never heard this before, so they're new arrivals.

Had same sounds here in the north midlands over a few summers - sadly none in recent years though , def. juv Long Eared Owls , almost every night, just after dark around mid June , lasted for a few weeks, then went silent ? Presumably fending for themselves by then or maybe moved onn ?

You should be able to see them if you go just before dark and stand with your back against a tree and watch

Sorry to highjack this thread but does anyone know what type of bird makes a "kip,kip, kip" sounding call while flying at night??. Have heard it several times in recent months. Sounds to me like some kind of wader but I could be wrong on that if anyone knows any better I'd like to hear from them!!

Yes - its does sound quiet like that. But I wonder would it be heard much inland?? ie. Blessington, where I've heard it a few times recently

My first thought was Water Rail, which migrates at night (as do other Rails & Crakes) and makes a variety of calls. Try this one:
