Serbian vs Croatian

Is there any real difference between Serbian and Croatian? I know Serbian uses both latin and cyrillic script, ehile croatian uses mainly the latin script. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be a huge difference. Opinions?

Minor variations in pronunciation, but just about the same language apart from the alphabet. That was what a Croatian colleague explained to me. This differs somewhat from what is spoken in Bosnian-H. which has a higher number of Turkish loan words.
