Evening alternative to black tea/coffee

I drink a lot of black tea and coffee. In the evenings it has always been tea and only recently it has begun to affect my sleep pattern.

I can't stand the taste of green tea or earl grey. Can anyone recommend any teas that would be as robust as a good black tea/coffee but not stoked up with caffeine.

(Decaff is antathema to me btw ;) )

Try a Red Bush herbal tea.

Rooibos is lovely too and has no caffeine.

I was going to suggest matcha, it's a fun little ceremony too, but saw you don't like green tea!

Lemon tea is nice and refreshing for a summers evening

+1 on rooibos. Fairly similar your regular tea, has a nice flavour and I find it helps me sleep better.

Green tea can be a bit bitter.

You could try white tea. It is much nicer to drink and has a chocolatey aftertaste to it. It has all the same health benefits as green tea and is made from the same tea leafs though they are picked earlier.

I drink 3-4 cups a day and it really is refreshing and nice.
