    Hi,

My wife's mother is getting married and its been suggested that I help the best man arrange a 'stag'. The best man lives abroad and may not be able to make it.

My father in law to be is 60+. Into golf, music, food etc but still up for a few beers and a bit of craic.

Any suggestions on places that would fit the bill?

Not the usual stag parties I normally frequent!

    Thanks

Could chance having it in Doolin and going golfing while there.. Not mad on the place myself but the few pubs there are nice and the golf course isn't he worst..

Or something like the hawk walks maybe would he like anything like that. Kinnity castle might work

Kilkenny is not a bad bet either. Couple of decent courses around with Kilkenny Golf Club and Callan decent average courses and then of course Mount Juliet if you want a really top notch course. Then you have the nightlife of Kilkenny for after as well.

We had a big day out at Courtlough shooting grounds last year for a 60th, it was great craic! Lovely clubhouse with great food etc, a few different shooting activities- might be worth considering?
