Architect West Waterford/ East Cork

I would like to source an architect for a new build.

1. What should i look for/ ask before choosing an architect?
2. In other words how should i go about choosing an architect??

3. Also would love any recommendations of architects which work in this area.

We have a large site with great views. I want someone who is creative & after examining the site will design the house around how to make the best of the site, views, light, space etc. (I suppose all good architect should do this!)

4. Also roughly how much does an architect add to cost of the build?
Like everyone we will be looking for value for money with a budget of aprox €200K.
