Never heard of anyone needing planning permission to repair a fence. Sounds like Sligo County Council are trying to generate income to offset the legal costs associated with Lissadell House

Yikes! I repaired fencing in a SAC last year. No planning permission or portaloo. Don't tell anyone!
Also used a digger, tractor. Never would have occurred to me that there were such regulations around.

Our eldest swims with the ulster squad and so we spend a lot of time north of the border, my god it's got expensive, really expensive.
Business going north must have died a death.

We were in a campsite over the June bank holiday weekend near Newtownards and we were the only southern people there.
