Kindle touch not charging properly

Everytime I charge it fully and then turn it off the battery depletes completely. Is the battery worn out

It sounds like the battery alright. I have an iPad and when I fully charge it it drains quickly. Might get 3 hours out of it at most.

I would imagine you can get kits to replace kindle batteries yourself. If not I'm sure one of the repair shops can put it right.
