Yes and if you read on the question is about smart-arsed remarks. If there was no smart arsed remarks, they why would you be asking at all? So there was smart arsed remarks and you queried the people making them i.e the "Republican/SF posters".

At this stage you are becoming very annoying, and I have also just realised that you haven't even posted anything prior to post#18, so how can you just drop in and feel so agreived at something that wasn't even addressed to you? Most odd.

We can argue all night if you like, but your paranoia is already derailing the thread.

Just read this on wiki, a bit early for me to remember, but it sounds like classic Peter Robinson! Hilarious stuff.

On 7 August 1986, in protest at the Anglo-Irish Agreement, Robinson led a group of 500 loyalists into the village of Clontibret in County Monaghan in the Republic of Ireland. The loyalists attacked the unmanned Garda station in the village and daubbed loyalist slogans on the walls. They then held a quasi-military parade along the main street and attacked two Gardaí. More Gardaí arrived shortly after and fired shots in the air, scattering the loyalist crowd. Robinson was arrested and held at Monaghan Garda station. He pleaded guilty to unlawful assembly and was fined IR£17,500 in a Drogheda court to escape a prison sentence. As a result, Robinson briefly resigned from the DUP deputy leadership. There was also violence both before and after a court appearance in Dundalk, including Ian Paisley being attacked with stones and petrol bombs after Jim Wells and other Robinson supporters waved flags and sang Loyalist songs. At his trial the judge described him as "a senior extremist politician".

Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson has blamed his lifestyle for the heart attack he suffered last week.
Mr Robinson was speaking at the Irish Open golf tournament in Newcastle, County Down, a day after being discharged from hospital.
He says he now plans to change after revealing that in the week before he took ill he had "two Chinese meals, a Kentucky Fried Chicken, a McDonald's and a cowboy supper*."

    * Basically consists of sausages, beans and chips

seemingly not the best of diets for a 66-year old man

Doesn't help certainly. These heart things can develop quietly over years, unfortunately.

Answering emails at 4am and getting up for work at 7 ain't helping either. I suppose when you've got intellectual heavyweights like Sammy Wilson and Erwin Poots working for you , you need to be very hands on.

Like minding monkeys working in a hand grenade factory.
