I've been awake for 42 hours. I just had my breakfast now before I go to work. It's 23:44 here. Had an omelette with goats cheese and avacado and a pint of guiness. Yepml.

Yikes! Hope you stay safe with the knives.

Breakfast was green omelette packed with spinach and green powder, smoked mackerel, spring onion and bird's eye chilli. And avocado.

Another Sunday, another stack of banana-egg pancakes. Flavoured with raw cacao and cinnamon. Pecan, maple syrup, passion fruit & flaxseed for thumbs up.

    I just had wheetos

Jaysus, do they still make those?! There's a memory now...

I've switched from porridge to summer porridge: oats, greek yoghurt, splash of milk, peaches, mandarin, grapes, and some pumpkin seeds. So full I want to go back to sleep, and I probably won't need to eat for the rest of the day.

I may as well tag this in the cooking disaster thread.
Blueberries are dirt cheap in Lidl at the moment so I picked up a few punnets, thought I'd make a smoothie this morning. Blended a punnet with some almond milk. Poured it into a tall glass, the whole thing became gelatinous. Great, I'll make a smoothie bowl instead, so poured it into a bowl, topped with banana, almonds, flaxseed and cacao nibs. But as I was preparing this, the juice from blueberries began to separate. Fine. Ate it anyway. It had a very vomit-like texture. Vile. But I hate wasting so I ate what I could. I may have to pull a Hobbit and have a second brekkie.

2 Swedish flatbreads with fennel (Ikea representing all over my breakfast plate) with a fried egg, bacon & brown sauce. I thought brown sauce was disgusting, how wrong I was. Really need to start trying more foods that I rejected when I was 5 as 'yuck', very rarely have I found anything that I still dislike.

A festival of oats. An Oatstival if you will (*dies in side a bit at dad joke*). I had a jar of coconut milk leftover from something that only used a few tablespoons the other day so poured some of that over oats (with a little water to loosen it up) and soaked them over night in the fridge. Then this morning added toasted sliced almonds & oats, blueberries and a(n unneccessary) drizzle of syrup. With the dog looking at me the whole time, crying a little, because obviously he never gets fed and oats are his favourite food. He thinks. Could he try a little and see?

    Knob of butter
    1 egg
    Chopped up ham
    Grated mozerella

In a ramekin, put a knob of butter followed by an egg, ham and cheese.
Place on a baking tray and put in an oven, preheated to 180c, for 5 minutes or longer if you don't like runny eggs.
    Serve with soldiers.

Mrs Fox, I often wonder, do you work in a B&B or cafe or similar? I just cannot imagine putting all that effort into presentation and variety of ingredients for every meal if I was cooking just for my own family. Maybe I'm just lazy. :o All your food looks so amazing!

(What did I have for breakfast? A bowl of Rice Krispies! :D )

Bought a new garden table in IKEA a few weeks ago so we christened it this morning....

Toasted bagels with poached eggs and a really easy to make hollandaise sauce that is 85% as good as the really awkward to make one.

Pretty food appeals me :D I wanted to increase and vary my veg and fruit intake, plus encourage the kids to try out different kinds of food, and it worked. It doesn't take a whole lot of extra effort, really. No more than chopping onions and peeling spuds.

Breakfast this morning was goat's cheese and spinach omelette, avocado with chia, strawberries and walnuts.
